The Dangers in My Heart follows Kyotaro Ichikawa, a middle schooler with a dark imagination who believes he’s destined to be an outsider. He’s obsessed with the idea of doing something drastic, but his life takes an unexpected turn when he starts interacting with Anna Yamada, a popular and cheerful girl in his class. The story is a mix of dark humor and sweet moments, gradually shifting from Ichikawa's internal struggles to a genuine, slow-burning romance.
